When it comes to blogging, irrespective of your niche you can always find an audience for it. Whether you’re interested in photography, arts, tech, society. You can always create a blog around it.

Blogs can also be accessed from a user-owned custom domain (such as www.forexample.com) by using DNS facilities to direct a domain to Google’s servers. Each Blogger user can have up to 100 blogs or websites per account.

Blogger isn’t difficult to use, creating a blog takes just a few simple clicks. Getting the right look for your Blogger blog doesn’t require any design skills or coding. You can select your preferred design on the available templates, it’s quite easy.

 

HOW TO USE BLOGGER

·        Set up your account

First you need to set up a Google account in order to use Blogger. If you don’t already have one, you will be required to create one.

 

·        Choose your blog name

After creating an account, the second step is choosing a name for your blog. Create an address (URL) for your blog. This step may take some time especially if your chosen URL is not available. If you get stuck, add a number or symbolic alphabet to your text to increase the chances of its availability.

 

·        Confirm your display name

The very last step is to confirm if your display name is visible to readers, your display name is the title of your blog that is seen by readers.

 

·        Manage your blog

Once you are all set up, you will have to use your dashboard to make any changes you want to effect on your blog. The dashboard can be used to check stats, upload post, manage posts, moderate comments and tweak your theme and page layout.  Earning details are also available on your dashboard, that if your blog had been linked to google adsense and is running ads.

Use the “View Blog” option to see how your blog will look in its unedited state.

 

·        Create a blog post

Now it’s time to write your first blog post, don’t worry it simple. To do this, click New Post on the top left-hand column and Blogger will switch to Create mode.

You will see a nice blank slate where you can write whatever you want. You have the usual word processor options along the top, such as bold, italics, bullet points, font type and font colour. You’ll also see options to add in emojis, links, images and video content.

 

After writing your post and adding all necessary content, you can then hit the publish and it will be live on your blogger site.

 

Blogger’s theme and template allows you to arrange and customize your blog in a way that suits you. Just click on Layout on the left-hand column, it will open up the template.  You can edit the template by adding in things like a Wikipedia gadget box, and an About Me section and place it wherever you like. You can do this all really easily with Blogger’s drag-and-drop system.

 

HOW TO CONNECT YOUR NAME ON NAMECHEAP TO BLOGGER

Before proceeding to connect your domain to blogger ensure you have already bought a domain name on Namecheap.

Now if you’ve bought a domain, on your name cheap account dashboard you will see your domain. click on the manage button from the dashboard which is located on the left side of your domain. This will redirect you to another page, when this happens click on the Advanced DNS option.

Now you will get the main option part to do. In there you have to add a new record then select the type of A record and here you have to create four separate A-records which will point to 4 different Google IPs.

After this has been done, go to the blogger dashboard where you want to add your custom domain. Then go to settings basic option. And you will see an option link name “Setup a 3rd party URL for your blog” click on it and a box will open, here write your domain and click on save button. After that it will show an error message which you have to solve.

First from error page see there have two list of codes. Copy them and on Advance DNS Add New Records using type of CNAME Record.

Then Add another New Record name URL Redirect Record pointing your domain name and select unmasked then click on the tick button.

And now you are done setup your custom domain from Namecheap in blogger. You can view your blog to see and check is it works or not. If it doesn’t work immediately wait for about 7 to10 minutes and also check that you didn’t make any mistakes. Then try again to view your blog.

Now you can own a blog and your blog can be accessed with your personalized domain in these easy steps.
